PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for industrially mass producing a filamentous fungus-derived glucose dehydrogenase having an excellent substrate specificity by a gene recombination. SOLUTION: In culturing a host transformed with an expression vector into which a filamentous fungus-derived glucose dehydrogenase gene is inserted, the pH in the culture is controlled to≤7.3 and/or an oxygen transfer rate per unit volume is controlled to≤1.0μmol/ml minute.
