PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-in-oil type emulsion containing a ceramide that (1) dissolves a hardly-soluble ceramide without later crystallization of the ceramide and (2) has excellent emulsion stability. SOLUTION: The water-in-oil type emulsion containing a ceramide contains a ceramide, a phospholipid derivative, a fatty acid dextrin and a polyglyceryl fatty acid ester.
