PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding difficulty determination means for preventing molding failure of a glass plate to be molded by bending in a trial stage, and determining a moldable design shape of glass plate in a design stage. SOLUTION: The method for determining a difficulty of bending molding of glass plate for determining the difficulty of bending molding of a glass plate-like body by use of computer comprises steps of: inputting a curved shape; dividing the shape into elements; calculating main strains by finite element method; totaling the calculated main strains; selecting a maximum value of the main strains; and comparing the total value and the maximum value with a difficulty classification table to classify the difficulty of molding of the glass plate.
