<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a wireless IC device, which has frequency characteristics and impedance that are determined without depending on an antenna and can be manufactured easily. <P>SOLUTION: The wireless IC device is provided by arranging a wireless IC chip 5 and radiation plates 11, 11 on a flexible sheet 10. The wireless IC chip 5 is connected to a feeder circuit 15, which is formed on the sheet 10 and has a prescribed resonance frequency and a prescribed impedance, through an Au bump 6. The feeder circuit 15 is composed of electrode patterns 15a, 15b, and the feeder circuit 15 and the radiation plates 11, 11 are capacitively coupled through the sheet 10. Then, the frequency of a transmitting signal radiated from the radiation plates 11, 11 and the frequency of a received signal supplied to the wireless IC chip 5 are substantially determined by a resonant frequency of the feeder circuit 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
