摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive unit capable of shortening an oscillation start-up time, without increasing the size of a circuit, and a physical quantity measuring instrument and electronic equipment using the same. <P>SOLUTION: An oscillation drive circuit 10 forming an oscillation loop together with a vibrator and for exciting the vibrator with drive vibration includes a current-voltage converter 30 provided in the oscillation loop and for converting a current flowing in the vibrator 12 into a voltage, and a GCA 20 as a comparator provided in the oscillation loop and for outputting a signal corresponding to a comparison result of an output from the current-voltage converter 30 with a prescribed voltage, to the vibrator 12. The GCA 20 outputs the first high level voltage or low level voltage, in an oscillation start-up process, and outputs the second high level voltage or low level voltage, in an oscillation stationary state.
