<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein, when the density of the whole page is lowered as a countermeasure against show-through effect, characters are difficult to read. <P>SOLUTION: An information processor outputs a recording instruction to a recording device for recording record contents to a material to be recorded with ink. The processor includes: an image presence/absence determination part for determining whether an image is contained in each recording content recorded on the front and back surfaces of the material to be recorded; an image position obtaining part for obtaining a record area for recording the image contained in each recording content on the material to be recorded; an overlap determination part for determining whether a record area on the surface of the material to be recorded for the image contained in the recording content recorded on the front surface of the material to be recorded obtained by the image position obtaining part and the area of the surface of the material to be recorded corresponding to the recording area on the back surface of the material to be recorded for the image contained in the recording content recorded on the back surface of the material to be recorded, overlap each other; and a recording instruction output part for outputting a recording instruction to reduce the quantity of ink used for at least one image between the image on the front surface and the image on the back surface, whose recording areas overlap each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
