TOOL DEVICE HAVING SLIDING CLUTCH

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive tool device having a sliding clutch to obtain a stable spring characteristic by a simple structure. SOLUTION: In this tool device 2, a structure in which torque around an axis A is added to an output element 8 from a driving device 6 is provided. The driving mechanism 6 is provided with the sliding clutch 22. The sliding clutch 22 is provided with a plurality of sliding elements 24 non-rotatably held on a tool housing 4. The sliding elements 24 are crimped by receiving prestress in an opposite clutch element 51 of a control element 18 added with the torque. The control element 18 is prevented from surely generating torsion till the control element 18 reaches a torque limit value by the clutch element 51. The prestress can be adjusted by an adjusting element 36 and is generated by a plurality of separate spring elements 28. The plurality of spring elements 28 are held on a common supporting device 30 movable to the tool housing 4. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
