摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new method of measuring a surface contact state in cases where a member equipped with conductivity is used in the surface contact state with another member. <P>SOLUTION: In this surface contact state measuring instrument 100, a measuring object (such as a gas diffusion layer 22) in a surface contact state is sandwiched between an acrylic plate 110 and a conductive plate 120. The acrylic plate 110 includes a light emitting body 114 layered on a transparent electrode 112 serving as a positive electrode in surface contact measurement. The emitting body 114 includes a hole carrying layer 114a joined to the transparent electrode 112 and an electron carrying layer 114c making surface-contact with the measuring object while an electroluminescent phenomenon occurs in an organic electroluminescent light-emitting layer 1114b between the two carrying layers owing to bonds between holes from the carrying layers 114a and electrons from the carrying layers 114c. Since this electroluminescent phenomenon depends on the surface contact state between the carrying layer 114c and the measuring object, the contact state is measured by means of light quantity measurement. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
