PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery pack system for detecting abnormalities of a voltage detection line, drawn out from a battery pack. SOLUTION: The battery pack system includes: a battery pack 1 for serially connecting a plurality of unit secondary battery cells 11<SB>1</SB>-11<SB>X</SB>; a voltage detection means 2 for outputting to attach ID assigned to each unit secondary battery cell on a detected inter-terminal voltage, by detecting the inter-terminal voltage supplied through voltage detection lines 4<SB>1</SB>-4<SB>X+1</SB>from each of a plurality of the unit secondary battery cells, at the same timing; and a battery pack management means 3 for outputting to detect the abnormality of the plurality of the unit secondary battery cells and the disconnection of the voltage detection line drawn out from each of the plurality of the unit secondary battery cells, based on the inter-terminal voltage of the plurality of the unit secondary battery cells supplied from the voltage detection means and ID.
