PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a time interval from the end of one exposure photographing to the start of the next exposure photographing from being longer as compared with the case an image for correction is not photographed, when acquiring an image for correcting an image obtained by exposure photographing. SOLUTION: In the case an eyepiece discrimination part decides that a photographer looks into a finder and a correction image photographing and deciding part decides that it is necessary to photograph an image for correction from set ISO sensitivity, a shutter speed, and the temperature of a solid-state imaging element detected by a temperature detection part, a digital camera automatically photographs the image for correction. Photographic conditions such as the ISO sensitivity and the shutter speed when photographing the image for correction are the same as the case of exposure photographing, and photographing is performed in a light shielded state. Thereafter, the digital camera performs exposure photographing. Image data acquired by the image for correction is used to remove noise components from image data acquired by exposure photographing.
