PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic radial tire capable of improving belt durability by effectively preventing generation of separation to a belt side edge part, while securing excellent wear resistance of a tread part. SOLUTION: Each of belts 9 formed by two belt reinforcing layers 8a and 8b made of reinforcing elements extending in a straight line shape or a zigzag shape in a peripheral direction at the outside of a crown region of a toroidal carcass 5 moored to at least a pair of bead cores 4 and two belt layers 9a and 9b constituted of each of belt cords extending in mutually opposite directions of a tire equatorial plane E is disposed at the inside of tread rubber 7.
