The device has two conveyor devices (10,12), which are connected with separate drives (28,68) for setting a height. The coupling devices are provided in a height position of a conveyor device, where the height of a conveyor device is mechanically transferred to another conveyor device. The former conveyor device has a pivoted guiding lever (60) assigned to the latter conveyor device, whose angularity is adjusted according to the height position of the latter conveyor device. The angularity is transferred to another guiding lever (40) of the latter conveyor device for the height setting.
