<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear light source device which efficiently, uniformly and linearly irradiates light rays entered into a light guide member from a light source. <P>SOLUTION: The linear light source device is provided with: the light guide member in a long shape; and the light source. The light guide member has two confronting side faces and a light outgoing face, and is provided with a light entering part that is irradiated with the light rays from the light source, wherein a long and narrow hole that penetrates the side faces is provided, and a plurality of curved surfaces are provided in at least one longer surface of the long and narrow hole. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
