<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust scraper capable surely discharging dust with less power and a flue gas cooling tower having the dust scraper. <P>SOLUTION: This flue gas cooling tower in place of conventional flue gas cooling towers for cooling flue gas containing dust comprises a cooling tower body having a circular bottom surface in which a discharge port for discharging dust is formed and an inner wall surface upwardly raised from the bottom surface and a dust scraper having a scraper mounting frame attached to the center of the bottom surface and rotated around the vertical axis, a scraper which is a member attached to the scraper mounting frame, and a drive mechanism for rotating the scraper mounting frame. The scraper is mounted on the scraper mounting frame. The tower longitudinally has a scraper frame which is a longitudinal member along the radial direction of the bottom surface and vane plates which are supported by the scraper frame and serving as the plates for scraping the dust accumulated at the bottom surface by the edges thereof facing downward. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
