<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the game nature, giving variation to the movement of a player object in spite of simple operation. <P>SOLUTION: When a selected character 50 having a ball 51 enters a centering area, a button switch image 61 for "centering" is displayed on a second LCD 12 provided with a touch panel. When the player touches the button switch image 61, the selected character 40 performs "centering", and its target point varies with which part of the button switch image 61 is touched by the player.
