PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a desired image file to be retrieved and selected immediately after photographing by a simple operation even if special photographs like construction photographs and other photographs exist together, and to allow the image file to be confirmed in a desired print layout. SOLUTION: When a mobile terminal device 5 is set to a desired photographing mode by a mode setting means and has an external device connected thereto and a communication line is established through a communication means, the mobile terminal device 5 retrieves only image files photographed by an imaging means in the desired photographing mode, from an image file storage means by a retrieval means and transmits the image files photographed in the desired photographing mode being the retrieval result, to the external device through the communication means. Thus the mobile terminal device can be provided which is capable of retrieving and selecting the image files immediately after photographing by the simple operation of setting the desired photographing mode by the mode setting means.
