PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiver for preventing performance deterioration of a received signal due to a disturbance signal in a cable when an antenna is mounted separately from a channel selecting part. SOLUTION: The channel selecting part 102 is arranged not in a demodulating and reproducing part 109 but in an antenna block 110, and a selection channel signal 403 converted into an intermediate frequency band is transmitted through a cable 103. Then, the intermediate frequency band is different from a frequency band of an interference radio wave to thereby prevent the quality of a reproduced signal from being deteriorated in an outputting part 107 without being affected by the disturbance in the cable 103.
