PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display apparatus capable of preventing an overturn preventing component from being lost when the overturn preventing component is not used. SOLUTION: A television broadcasting receiving apparatus (display apparatus) 1 is provided with a liquid crystal display unit 2 having a liquid crystal display (display part), a stand 3 supporting the liquid crystal display unit 2 and having a recessed part 301 on the bottom and an overturn preventing member 4 fixed on the stand so as to be stored in the recessed part 301 of the stand 3 when the member 4 is not used and so as to be drawn out of the recessed part 301 in using the member 4.
