A lower housing structure of an air cleaner is provided to prevent deformation of a lower housing and preclude permeation of impurities into an inner case and an outer case by dividing the lower hosing into the inner case and the outer case. A lower housing structure of an air cleaner comprises a main body, an upper housing, and a lower housing. The main body, whose upper/lower surfaces are opened, has a discharge hole of a grill type formed at its side periphery. The upper housing, whose lower surface is opened, is installed at the upper part of the main body and has an intake hole of the grill type at its upper surface. The lower housing, whose upper surface is opened, is placed at the lower part of the main body to place water. The lower housing also includes an inner case(310) placing water inside, an outer case(320) having a space with the inner case, and a cover part(313). The cover part is protruded along the upper periphery of the inner case to cover the space between the inner case and the outer case. A watertight edge(321) is protruded along the upper surface of the outer case and inserted into a watertight groove(317) recessed along the periphery of a lower end in the cover part.
