<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for expanding light from a light source 1 into a wide range as much as possible, in a luminaire controlling the light distribution of a light source 1 by a lens 3. <P>SOLUTION: This luminaire comprises: the light source 1 like an LED chip; a board 2 with the light source 1 mounted thereon; the awl-like lens 3 controlling the light from the light source 1; and a housing 4 housing them; wherein the center of the light emitting part of the light source 1 is nearly coincident with the center axis of the awl-like lens 3. The awl-like lens 3 may be formed into a conical shape or pyramid-like shape, but the cross-sectional shape of the lens 3 parallel to the light emitting surface of the light source 1 is set analogous to the shape of the light emitting part of the light source 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
