PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly flexible image processing apparatus capable of adding the processing of a subsequent function later. SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus constitutes a job by combining individual functions related to image processing. The image processing apparatus includes a means configured to display states of the job and the individual constituent functions of the job to allow a user to select one of the constituent functions of the job and add a subsequent function after the selected one of the constituent functions, and to receive a request to execute the job.
