INFORMATION DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM, ITS METHOD, TRANSMITTER, AND RECEIVER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information distribution system for transferring information in a plurality of levels by a pilot signal, its information distribution method and a transmitter/receiver used for the information distribution system.

SOLUTION: This information distribution system is configured to transmit multi-level information inputted from an input terminal 17 from a transmitter 1 to a receiver 14 by using a pilot signal. This information distribution system is characterized by making a pilot signal output part 8 generate a plurality of predetermined synchronizing different frequency pilot signals, and by selecting two pilot signals as the difference of a frequency or the difference of the number of cycles corresponding to the information quantity of the multi-level information, and by transmitting the pilot signals from a signal transmission part 4 to the receiver 14. The receiver 14 is provided with a means 11 for extracting the two pilot signals at each frequency and an information output part 13 for outputting the multi-level information corresponding to the difference of the frequency or the difference of the number of cycles from the two extracted pilot signals to an output terminal 18.
