<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a back-light controller configured such that deterioration variance of a light emitting element is suppressed. <P>SOLUTION: In the back-light controller, a gain control filter raises the gain output of only light emitting elements 110 disposed at center parts 112b and 112e in the light emitting element area 112 of a light emission unit 104, so when the contrast of liquid crystal is optimized, the outputs of the light emitting elements 110 at the center parts 112b and 112e where a driving time becomes long can be lowered. Consequently, even when the light emission unit 104 mixedly includes the light emitting elements 110 at the center parts 112b and 112e whose driving times are long and light emitting elements 110 at peripheral edge parts 112a, 112c, 112d, and 112f whose driving times are short, deterioration variance among the light emitting elements 110 can effectively be suppressed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
