PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an organic electroluminescent display device in which, since a metal mask is not used and a light-emitting material vapor deposition auxiliary object is utilized, multi-colored display can be obtained inexpensively at high performance and at a high yield, and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: This organic electroluminescent display device comprises an organic electroluminescent diode formed at the intersection point of a gate wire and a signal wire. A light-emitting material vapor deposition auxiliary object 20 which has a plurality of triangle openings 20a which are formed on the substrate 10 for performing vapor deposition and form an organic light-emitting layer of the organic electroluminescent diode, and which has a plurality of multi-pyramidal holes communicating with the openings 20a, and the organic light-emitting layer of the organic electroluminescent diode formed in the substrate 10 and the multi-pyramidal holes of the light-emitting material vapor deposition auxiliary object 20 are arranged.
