The cylinder lock, e.g. for a door, has a core pin (22) in two parts (38,46) with a spring (51) between them. The first part (38) has a sleeve (40) with a base (42) to take the second part. The base is towards the key channel (18) and the other end (44) is open. The second part (46) has a projection (52) through an opening in the base of the first part.
