Endoscope comprises a turned-up tube system for an inner shaft (1) or a shaft-like component, which slides in a tube (2) that is turned up at both ends and is moved by a drive device (10) acting on an inner tube section (2a) of the turned-up tube. The endoscope also comprises a lubricating device (15) for introducing lubricant into an annular gap (9) between the shaft and the inner turned-up tube section, and at least one radial bore or perforation in the wall of the shaft which opens into the annular gap and is connected to the lubricating device.
