An apparatus of automatically discharging chips in cooing oil is provided to automatically discharge the chips to the outside by separating chips including impurities from the cooling oil using a plurality of electromagnets and then changing magnetization of the electromagnet. An apparatus of automatically discharging chips in a cooling oil comprises a separation plate(19) and a discharge plate(20) that are integrally connected to each other and mounted to an opening of a cooling oil tank(10). A plurality of electromagnets(23,24) are installed on the bottom surface of the separation plate and the discharge plate. All of the electromagnets attached to the bottom surface of the separation plate are magnetized to separate the chip including impurities. The electromagnets are magnetized in the sequence of the electromagnet farthest from the discharge plate and the electromagnet farthest from the separation plate to discharge the chips.
