<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transformer capable of avoiding a magnetic saturation even in a case where DC eccentric magnetization occurs. <P>SOLUTION: The transformer has such properties that the iron loss in a capacitance iron loss characteristic curve 1 is not less than 4.85×(capacitance (kVA))<SP>0.613</SP>(W) and not more than 27.3×(capacitance (kVA))<SP>0.613</SP>(W), and even when a superimposed current comprising a rated current on which not less than 1% of a direct current component has been superimposed, is input, magnetic saturation does not take place. An iron core 3 is formed of a noncrystalline metallic material. The iron core 3 is annealed while applying a magnetic field in any desired direction by an externally disposed solenoid coil 11. In the iron core 3, the axis of easy magnetization is not horizontal to the direction of excitation by a winding wire in the assembly of the transformer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
