<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxygen concentrator which prevents a deterioration in moisture absorption of an absorbent during the termination of operation by carrying out the operation of exhausting a water content contained in the absorbent in an adsorption bed. <P>SOLUTION: A pressure fluctuation adsorption type oxygen concentrator comprises the adsorption bed filled with the absorbent capable of selectively adsorbing nitrogen rather than oxygen, air supply means for supplying air to the adsorption bed, control means for controlling the operation of the air supply means, flow path switch means for repeating the adsorption step of supplying air from the air supply means to the adsorption bed to remove concentrated oxygen, and the desorption step of reducing pressure of the adsorption bed to regenerate the absorbent in a fixed timing, and flow amount control valve means for controlling a concentrated oxygen flow amount, wherein the operation of exhausting the water content contained in the absorbent in the adsorption bed is carried out during the termination of the operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
