PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a planetary gear mechanism capable of properly increasing the accuracy of a device. SOLUTION: This planetary gear mechanism comprises a sun gear, an internal gear positioned outside the sun gear in the radial direction, a plurality of planetary gears positioned between the sun gear and the internal gear in the radial direction and meshed with the sun gear and the internal gear, and a carrier rotatably supporting the planetary gears. The carrier comprises a first carrier part supporting at least one planetary gear among the planetary gears and a second carrier part supporting at least the other one planetary gear different from at least the one planetary gear. The carrier further comprises an adjustment member for adjusting the relative positions of the first carrier part and the second carrier part in the circumferential direction.
