<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitor control system in a radio communication system for detecting such a sign that defective information is frequently generated, and for setting short a polling interval before defective information is actually generated, and for setting long the polling interval when such a fear that the defective information is frequently generated is decreased. <P>SOLUTION: In a radio communication system in which a monitor manager device 1 and a plurality of microwave radio equipment 2 and 3 are connected by a polling selective system, the microwave radio equipment 2 and 3 are respectively provided with measurement units 22 for measuring the reception input electric field strength of their own equipment 2 and 3, and when receiving a polling signal from the monitor manager device 1, the microwave radio equipment 2 and 3 transmit response signals including the defective information of their own equipment 2 and 3 and the reception input electric field intensity measured by the measuring units 22 to the monitor manager device 1.
