<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color display device adapted to enable a person with normal color vision who carries out color design to easily make simulated experience of an image recognized by a person with abnormal color vision. <P>SOLUTION: The color display device includes: an image signal processing circuit 3 which includes a basic image processing circuit 11 which subjects an input image signal to image processing by a color vision standard recognized by the person with normal color vision and an image correction circuit 12 which corrects the image signal processed by the basic image processing circuit 11 to the image signal of the color vision standard recognized by the person with abnormal color vision; and a changeover processing circuit 4 which changes over whether the image signal processed by the basic image processing circuit 11 is output as it is or is output as the image signal corrected in the image correction circuit 12.
