In a disk drive, a disk medium includes servo areas on which servo data is recorded and data areas on which data is recorded. In each of data tracks in, e.g., an outer radius of the disk medium, the inclination theta2 of the servo data recorded on the servo areas is smaller than the inclination theta1 of the data recorded on the data areas.
