<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable color vertical type illuminating apparatus in which a user can select and change illumination colors according to user's preference for more effective rendition and also provide a variable color vertical type illuminating system. <P>SOLUTION: The variable color vertical type illuminating system 50 is provided with two pairs of apparatus main bodies 51, 52, a power source 80 and a remote controller 86 for transmitting on/off controlling signals. The apparatus main bodies 51, 52 are provided with longitudinal transparent covers 65 covering light emitting portions, and colored lights of RGB of internal light emitting diodes are emitted outside. The remote controller 86 transmits on/off signals in a same timing with an on/off timing of each of the light emitting diodes toward remote controller light receiving portions of the apparatus main bodies, and each of the light emitting diodes are put on/off according to the on/off controlling signals. The system is arranged on right and left sides of a TV monitor or the like so that an illuminating direction can face a wall behind the monitor, and an atmosphere of a home theater can be obtained by controlling a timing of colored lights of the illuminated surface and their variation with the remote controller 86. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
