PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a plurality of portable telephone terminals belonging to different users to share one portable telephone number. SOLUTION: This portable telephone system is provided with a number management server 10 installed for the interwork of an in-house network 100 and a public network 200 to manage the usage state and speech communication history of a public portable telephone number, a guidance server 20, an SIP server 30 being a call control server in the in-house network 100, and a gateway 40 for protocol exchange between the public network 200 and the in-house network 100. When the gateway 40 receives an incoming request from the public network 200, the program management server 10 specifies one extension telephone terminal to be an incoming destination terminal from the speech communication history and the usage state of a public portable telephone number designated as an incoming destination number of the incoming request, makes the extension telephone terminal receive the incoming call by extension speech communication if it exists in the house, and controls speech communication connection with the extension telephone terminal by transferring the incoming call to the public portable telephone number given to the incoming destination terminal if it exists outside the house.
