PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve security by a simple method without imposing a large burden on an operator.

SOLUTION: The wireless tag information reading system comprises a wireless tag circuit element 11 having an IC circuit part 4 and a tag antenna 5; a wireless tag circuit element 21 having an IC circuit part 4 and a tag antenna 8, and a wireless tag information reader 3 for outputting a first inquiry signal to the circuit element 11 and a second inquiry signal to the circuit element 21. The circuit element 21 cannot generally respond to the second inquiry signal from the reader 3, and outputs a second answer signal to the second inquiry signal when the circuit element 11 outputs a first answer signal to the first inquiry signal from the reader 3.
