<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable removal of clogging sludge by operating a sludge removal means by a controller based on a sludge clogging state grasped by a sludge clogging detection means, in a contact aeration method where sludge carriers are installed in a wastewater treatment tank for biologically treating wastewater. <P>SOLUTION: A wastewater treatment apparatus comprises the wastewater treatment tank 4 for biologically treating the wastewater, an oscillating bed 5, an aeration pipe 6, a partition plate 8, a blower 7, the controller 16, and an aeration pipe 19, and detects an oxidation-reduction potential obtained by an ORP meter 15 to grasp the sludge clogging state, which enables sludge removal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
