ANTIGLARE FILM, POLARIZING PLATE, AND IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antiglare film having sufficiently high antiglare property and ensuring less generation of glaring on an image when used for an image display device, further to provide the image display device suppressing generation of glaring on the image even when used for a flat panel display having a highly fine pixel.

SOLUTION: An antiglare film includes at least an antiglare layer containing a binder and a fine particle on a transparent support, wherein the antiglare layer has an average thickness smaller than an average particle diameter of the fine particle, and the antiglare layer has a surface roughness skewness (Rsk) of 0.5 to 1.5.
