<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system for notifying an area with a proper electric field in HSDPA (High-Speed Downlink Packet Access) communications. <P>SOLUTION: A location information detection portion acquires location information indicative of the current position of a cellular phone 1. A CPU notifies the location information. When a communication portion 202 receives the location information, a management portion 204 generates quality information, where the communication quality by HSDPA communications is associated with each location information indicative of a position within a range including the current position at least, based on the location information and a database in a storage portion 201, and notifies the quality information to the cellular phone 1.
