摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of driving an organic electroluminescence part that can suppress a decrease in luminance uniformity of a display screen. <P>SOLUTION: An organic EL element has a drive circuit and the light emission part ELP, and the drive circuit is constituted of a drive transistor T<SB>Drv</SB>, a video signal write transistor T<SB>Sig</SB>, a light emission control transistor T<SB>EL_C</SB>, and a capacitor part C1, where the other source/drain region of the drive transistor T<SB>Drv</SB>is connected to an anode electrode of the light emission part ELP and also connected to one electrode of the capacitor part C<SB>1</SB>to constitute a second node ND<SB>2</SB>. In threshold voltage cancel processing for raising the potential of the second node ND<SB>2</SB>, the gate electrode of the light emission control transistor TEL_C is applied in order with a first voltage V<SB>1_ON</SB>, a second voltage V<SB>2_ON</SB>, and a third voltage V<SB>3_OFF</SB>satisfying ¾V<SB>1_ON</SB>-V<SB>3_OFF</SB>¾>¾V<SB>2_ON</SB>-V<SB>3_OFF</SB>¾. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
