A work transfer apparatus is provided for transferring a work by storing the work in a through hole on a transfer table. In the work transfer apparatus, the work can be speedily and surely taken out from the through hole by using a compression gas, an undesired work does not easily jump out due to residual pressure of the compressed air, and transfer efficiency can be improved. The transfer table (4) is arranged to face the transfer surface (3a) of the transfer stage (3), an electronic component (6) as the work is stored in the through hole (4b) of the transfer table (4), and the electronic component (6) is transferred by rotating the transfer table (4). The work transfer apparatus (1) has a jetting port (11) opened on the transfer surface (3a), at a position from which an electronic component is taken out, and the total area of the opening portion on the side of the transfer table (4) of the jetting port (11) is larger than an area of a surface on the side of the transfer surface (3a) of the transfer stage (3) of the electronic component (6). ® KIPO & WIPO 2009
