<p>A light emitting diode light control apparatus and a method thereof is provided to reduce power consumption of a constant current LED driving part and prevent overheat of a LED lamp by limiting driving current in case that heat-generating temperature of the LED lamp rises. A constant current LED driving part(210) operates a LED lamp by the constant current system in response to an input of a PWM signal. A LED lamp outputs illuminance. A temperature sensor(230) measures the temperature of the LED lamp. An analog to digital converter(130) converts analog value measured in the temperature sensor into digital value. A pulse width of alteration signal production part(120) generates a PWM signal. A microcontroller(110) controls duty ratio of the PWM signal according to the control signal to turn on the LED lamp and controls the duty ratio of the PWM signal corresponding to the temperature measured from the LED lamp.</p> |
