The method involves utilizing an aligning tool (38) for aligning tool fittings and a hardened casting compound e.g. epoxy resin, for fixing a fitting at a tool holder (10). The holder and tool are oppositely positioned such that a shaft (42) of the tool runs through boreholes (16, 18) of the fittings. A guide bush of one of the fittings is positioned on the shaft such that the bush is arranged in the borehole (16). A gap (26) is filled with the compound for unremovably fixing the bush in the borehole (16). The tool is removed from the holder after hardening the compound.
