<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent and highly-refractive resin composition, capable of forming a film-like optical member, and an optical member using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The resin composition comprises: (A) a metal-containing highly-refractive intermediate; (B) a polymer or oligomer; and/or (C) a reactive monomer. The component (A) is obtained by partial hydrolysis and condensation of titanium alkoxide, diethanolamine and water.
