<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiving device capable of decreasing discomfort occurring when reproducing sound in a case where noises are generated on sound signals due to pulse width variation. <P>SOLUTION: An optical receiving device 1 includes an abnormal pulse detecting circuit 3. The abnormal pulse detecting circuit 3 includes a received pulse edge detecting circuit 10 for detecting an instance of an input signal dropping down and outputting the detected result as an edge detecting signal, a mute reference pulse generating circuit 11 for generating a mute reference pulse based on the edge detecting signal, a logic circuit 12 for outputting a signal representing a negative AND of the mute reference pulse and the input signal, a mute signal generating circuit 13 for generating a mute signal from the output signal from the logic circuit 12, and a switch circuit 14 for outputting the input signal or the mute signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
