<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide portable electronic equipment, a camera and a cellular phone capable of stabilizing a projection image. <P>SOLUTION: When the image is projected from a projection part 220, operation concerning a projector function is performed based on the change of an image obtained by imaging by an imaging part 120. Since the operation concerning the projector function is performed even though a user does not touch an electronic camera 10 with a PJ, a situation that the position of the electronic camera 10 with the PJ moves to cause deviation of the projecting position of the projection image and convergence of already adjusted focus of the projection image is prevented. Therefore, the projection image is stabilized, and sense of incongruity is prevented from being given to an observer. Icons 172 to 175, 192 and 193 corresponding to operation instructions concerning the projector function are displayed on a liquid crystal display unit 107.
