PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle door structure where joint strength of a door inner panel and a door outer panel composing the door panel does not deteriorate even when forming an incision for the passage of a door glass on the lower part of one side edge of the opening for the window provided at the upper part of door panel. SOLUTION: In the vehicle door structure, the incision 28 is formed on the door outer panel 34 and the door sash 24 at the position corresponding to the lower part of one side edge of the opening for the window. The door glass 22 is inserted from the opening for the window to the inside of the door in such a state that a part of the side wall part 52 of the outside of the vehicle of the glass run 50 is inverted in the opening direction at the incision 28 to assemble the door glass 22 to the door. The joint member 70 for mutually jointing the door inner panel 32 and the door outer panel 34 composing the door panel 12 is provided at the portion having the incision 28.
