Building formed of prefabricated sections - having plastics resin roof with light transmitting portions and ducts

The building consists of prefabricated sections assembled together in three directions forming angles of 120 deg. Each unit consists of a concrete part made in the factory. The outer walls are cast in shuttering and the floor consists of an initial slab on which is laid the final slab. Cavities for doors are provided in the mould during casting. Inside partitions are provided, each unit being covered by a plastic resin roof which is self-supporting, and contains ducts. The roof incorporates a number of transparent or translucent or opaque parts for lighting the interior. Each unit is raised into position by means of jacks or a crane.
