<p>The invention relates to a high power battery, the electrochemical cells (10,11, ...) of which are cylinders mounted in a regular parallel arrangement with a spacing (35). The aim of the invention is as efficient and even a cooling as possible. Said aim is achieved by providing a sleeve (15) made from a tube (16), wound around a number of cells (10,11, ...) of the battery, the tube (16) at least partly enclosing one cell after the other with each turn (20, 21, 22, ..). For example, the tube (16) forming the sleeve encloses a cell (10) in a semicircle (31) on the outside and an adjacent cell (11) in a semicircle (32) on the inside.</p> |
