PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fur sticking preventive product which excels in the effect of preventing fur from sticking, retains this fur sticking preventive effect over a long period of time, and furthermore can easily remove the stuck fur, and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The fur sticking preventive product is obtained by forming a fur sticking preventive coating film containing silicon (Si), zirconium (Zr), and oxygen (O) and having a weight percentage of silicon oxide (SiO<SB>2</SB>) to the sum of zirconium oxide (ZrO<SB>2</SB>) and silicon oxide (SiO<SB>2</SB>) of 1 to 40 wt.% when the silicon (Si) is expressed in terms of the silicon oxide (SiO<SB>2</SB>) and the zirconium (Zr) is expressed in terms of the zirconium oxide (ZrO<SB>2</SB>) and having a film thickness of 0.1-10μm on the surface of a base material.
